Hiya, I'm Lauran

I will never forget my first day of college.

As a fifteen-year-old homeschool graduate diving straight into community college, I felt a mix of confusion and excitement. I remember thinking, “this feels completely different from my education so far.” My parents did the best they could to prepare me, but adjusting to college life and academics was a huge learning curve. I spent that first semester figuring out how to study, how to ask for help, and how to thrive.

I’ve spent every day since then dedicated to helping students and their families be prepared for college.

As a college professor who was homeschooled, there are things I wish all families knew.

I share all of that in this course!
