How do you prepare your homeschooled children for college? Join me for a workshop on the four essentials of college readiness. You’ll get my perspective and expertise as a college professor who was homeschooled K-12. I'll send you off with handouts, actionable steps, and newfound confidence.
Are you trying your best to prepare your homeschooled kids for college, but not sure if you actually know how to do it?
Over 3.7 million people in America are homeschooled (more worldwide), so they can...
Prioritize their values
Have flexibility
Tailor learning experiences
Prepare for a bright future, and
Invest in life-changing education for their kids.
This is great!
But here's the problem:
It's been years since most parents navigated the transition to college, and a lot has changed since then. Or maybe parents didn’t attend college and don’t know where to start. And that makes many parents feel helpless. Without the benefit of a college counselor, homeschooling parents
are spending endless time searching the internet, scouring Facebook groups, and piecing together college readiness materials.
That's why i created this workshop!
The Homeschool Parent’s Guide to College Readiness: Four Essentials to Help Your Child Prepare for College
In this mini course, you'll learn:
✅ The REAL keys to preparing your kids for a smooth transition into college even if you aren’t a teacher or guidance counselor by trade (spoiler alert - it has nothing to do with choosing the right SAT prep course)
✅ The 4 categories of skills you can’t overlook if you *truly* want your kids to be ready for college, and the underlying emotional awareness that ties them all together
✅ And my trick for tracking these skills with your student in as little as 20 minutes a week
In my newsletter, you receive product news, exclusive discounts, & college readiness tips, as well as…

Hiya, I'm Lauran
I will never forget my first day of college.
As a fifteen-year-old homeschool graduate diving straight into community college, I felt a mix of confusion and excitement. I remember thinking, “this feels completely different from my education so far.” My parents did the best they could to prepare me, but adjusting to college life and academics was a huge learning curve. I spent that first semester figuring out how to study, how to ask for help, and how to thrive.
I’ve spent every day since then dedicated to helping students and their families be prepared for college.
